Founded in 1906,The Danbury Square Box Company was the first solid-fiber carton manufacturer in the area.  At the time, Danbury, Connecticut was home to many hat factories. The name, Danbury Square Box, was chosen to let the hatting industry know that we did not produce round hat boxes.

Over 100 years and five generations later, Danbury Square Box is still owned and operated by the Allen family and has grown and changed beyond just square shipping cartons.  Today, we manufacture a wide range of custom corrugated packaging solutions – and an occasional round box.
